Appointments are made for as long as a resident is able to live independently and complies with the terms and conditions of their Letter of Appointment.
An appointment will be brought to an end by the Trustees giving 28 days written notice when a resident is no longer able to live independently or is otherwise persistently in breach of the terms and conditions contained in their Letter of Appointment.
Every effort will be made to ensure that a resident is able to occupy their home for as long as possible and the Trustees will work with the resident and their family to make the transition to more suitable accommodation as trouble free as possible.
A resident may terminate their appointment at any time by giving not less than one calendar months’ notice in writing to the Trustees. The weekly maintenance contribution remains payable until the notice period has expired and the Flat has been vacated and cleared of all furniture and possessions.
